In between panic attacks I like to take photographs and drink coffee.

Anonymous asked: What type of camera do you have?

I have a few cameras; I shoot digitally with a Canon 5D Mark II. I also use a variety of “old” film cameras like an AE-1 and a little Olympus OM-1. The more I use film and the less I like digital. It will always have a place - and the quality will always get better and better - but it will never be as tangible as film. Cheers!

After trying B&W films from Ilford, Kodak and Fuji I think TRI-X 400 is my favorite B&W film to use.

“Pink’s”
Corner of Melrose and La Brea, Hollywood, California. Sometime recently. Pink’s is a Hollywood landmark. It first opened as a cart near the same location in 1939 selling chilidogs with two toppings for 10 cents. The building you see here has been here since 1946 under continuous operation. It has been been in countless films and television shows over the past 50 years.  Someday when the line has less than 40 people I’m going to try it. Fujicolor 100 (Expired 2/2000) Olympus OM-1.
